A hidden gem near Kitanomine. This local french restaurant uses local ingredients for their cuisines. The food is great and we enjoyed our dinner so much!

A stylish bistro standing about a 10-minute walk from Furano Ski Resort Kitanomine Zone. I asked for some items, but they were all delicious. Especially the carbonara was rich and good. In addition, gentle burdock soup and tender meat were all delicious. Despite being close to closing, we ate slowly without being rushed.

Le Chemin is a great little bistro near the hotels on the ski hill, but still very close to town. Nearly everything is homemade. From the staters of house-cure prosciutto to the ice creams with deserts, a lot of time, knowledge and love goes into every aspect of the menu.The lunch set menu is a must. For ¥2500 yen, you get four courses, that all compliment each other nicely. There are quite Japanese tales on things, like the raw scallops and herring in my salad, to the classics like smoked salmon quiche and carrot cake. Very nicely done and surprisingly affordable.

I visited on a rainy afternoon. The atmosphere, the friendly service, the good food ... everything was good. It would be a good choice if you order a lunchtime exclusive menu.
